Homecoming Dance and Social for Teens more info TICKETS MAY BE PURCHASED AT THE DOOR AFTER SEPT. 11, 2008. This is for TEENS ONLY, ages 14-17. The Homecoming Dance and Social will be held at the Disneyland Paradise Pier Hotel on September 15, 2008 from 8-11pm. Dance Dress Code and Restrictions: NOTE: Due to parental feedback, we have lifted the restriction on piercings. However, we absolutely will not budge on the inappropriate showing of skin - please read below for noted changes in red. Dance Dress Code and Restrictions: Attire is modest and semi-formal, formal attire is welcome. You may come dressed in your day clothes as well as long as they fit within the guidelines below. Purchase of a dance ticket constitutes your agreement to the following: Dress Code for boys: No baggy pants, shorts are okay to the knees, no sleeveless shirts, no holes. Must wear covered shoes. No chains, spikes, may be worn on boys. No hats except souvenir hats purchased at Disneyland or Disney's California Adventure. Inappropriate attire will result in dismissal without refund. Dress code for girls: Midriff must be covered. Skin of back below the shoulder blades must be covered. Thighs must be covered to the knees. No necklines below the armpit level. No spaghetti straps, no tank tops, you must wear at least a cap sleeve. No undergarments may be showing at any time. Rules of Conduct: No foul language, no sexually explicit dancing or contact, no leaving the dance without a chaperone. No fighting, no alcohol or drugs, no smoking, and no weapons. Parents are completely responsible for their teens. Southwest Home Educators Association, its assigns and chaperones, are held harmless from any liability for misconduct or mischevious behavior. Our liability ends with providing a safe and modest dance forum for your child. We are not responsible if your teen leaves the dance, gets into trouble, or is removed from the dance for noncompliance. Event Details

SHEA's 2nd Annual Not-Back-To-School-Days at Disneyland will be held in Anaheim, California on September 15-17, 2008.

This educational field trip ticket includes the opportunity to attend up to TWO of Disney's Youth in Education Series classes! (one class per day, Monday Sept. 15 and Tuesday Sept. 16, 2008.) This is an incredible opportunity to learn first hand how Physics ties in to some of the rides at the theme park in either the Properties of Motion class or the Energy and Waves class, or you might choose to get behind the scenes in the Animation class and learn how to draw one of the famous Disney characters! There is also a great discovery class on the history of California. SHEA is pleased to be the first to offer the newest YES class, Leadership in Action. SHEA has booked all of the available slots for the YES classes for September 15-16, and we have now added a third park-hopper day so you can enjoy even more of the theme parks. The tickets allow unlimited park-hopper admittance into both Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure theme parks for all three days. Family members who are not attending the YES classes may also purchase guest park hopper passes at the same discount group rate if purchased on the same order (use the GUEST PASS option for family members not taking YES classes).

For hotel accommodations, SHEA has blocked and reserved a limited number of rooms at the Grand Californian, Disney's premier hotel (SOLD OUT); as well as a Good Neighbor hotel - the Desert Inn and Suites (Desert Inn is SOLD OUT). This will provide a wide range of affordability and individuality for our guests!

On Monday evening, from 5-8 pm, we have reserved Disneyland's Paradise Pier Hotel Ballroom for a private dinner and welcome party. During dinner, there will be a talent show for your entertainment - and the performers will be homeschoolers! A fantastic time to meet other home educators, and get to know each other. Please plan to support the homeschooler who have worked so hard to bring you this show. Tickets are $33 for adults (ages 10 and up) and $20 for kids (ages 3-9). YOU MAY PURCHASE TICKETS AT THE DOOR!

TEENS - TEENS - TEENS - Sign up for the Homecoming Dance which will be held immediately following the dinner and talent show!!! What a great way to meet new friends, and a fun memory for you! Tickets are $21 per person, and if you take a Leadership class with our group you will receive a rebate of $5.00 per student. Ordering two or more dance tickets on the same order qualifies you for an additional rebate of $2.50 per student. REBATES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR TICKETS PURCHASED AT THE DOOR.

A SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEE APPLIES TO ALL YES TICKETS and GUEST PASS ONLY tickets. A discount for the shipping and handling is available to all members of SHEA and will automatically apply as a credit after we verify your membership. Those who got lucky in the first week of registration and did not pay the shipping and handling fee due to a Paypal glitch, obviously will not receive a rebate or discount. You only have up to 60 days from your initial order to qualify for the rebate.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Reservations cancelled before May 15, 2008 will not incur a cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled between May 16, 2008 and June 15, 2008 will incur a 40% cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled between June 16, 2008 and August 1, 2008 will incur a 60% cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled after August 1, 2008 are nonrefundable.
